Annual Sale: April 24 - May 1, 2010 at St. Vital Centre

The Children's Hospital Book Market was established in 1961 and is the longest running fundraiser in support of the Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba. This year Book Market celebrates
50 years
of supporting child health care in the province!

The concept of Book Market is simple. Members of the community drop off used books at our various outlets and volunteers sort, mark, pack and price books in over 65 categories that are then sold at three annual sales.

Since its inception, the Book Market has raised about $4.4 million in support of child health care in Manitoba and received numerous awards including the Mayor's Volunteer Service Award and a Teddy Award.

We are pleased to have Dufresne Furniture and Appliances as our title sponsor. As a Miracle Partner, Dufresne recognizes the importance of supporting the special health care needs of children through reliable and consistent funding of pediatric medical research. This partnership also allows us to fund equipment and programs at the Children's Hospital of Winnipeg, helping us to improve the health of children everywhere.

Please visit Dufresne Furniture and Appliances for more information on their products.

We would also like to thank our Book Market Supporters which serve as drop-off points for book donations.

Salisbury House Restaurants (at Pembina and Stafford & Ellice at Roseberry), Winnipeg Fire Halls, and any Dufresne store.
