Red River Century Ride for Diabetes

Olympia Cycle & Ski St. Mary’s Rd. will be holding the 2010 Red River Century Ride for Diabetes on Sunday, July 25!

All funds raised will go to the Children’s Hospital Foundation to be used for juvenile diabetes.

Participation details:

  • The ride can be for individuals or teams
  • Entrance fee will be $40.00 to cover cost of t-shirts, dinner and entertainment
  • The ride will consist of varying lengths up to 100 km.The route consists of beautiful gently rolling terrain with the river on one side and gorgeous properties on the other
  • There will be a free bike check up at Olympia Cycle up to a week before the event and mechanic support before and during the ride
  • First aid will be available at all times and aid stations will be set up at regular intervals for hydration and food
  • Vehicles and motorbike support will be on hand for extra hydration or to handle any unforeseen problems
  • Volunteers will be at all key intersections for traffic and bicycle control
  • Each participant will have a ride number and map of the route
  • Helmets will be mandatory
  • Port A Potties will be on hand at the Aid stations
  • The ride will end with a full buffet dinner and entertainment.
