The Children's Hospital Book Market was established in 1961 and is the longest running fundraiser in support of the Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba.

Since its inception, the Book Market has raised about $4.4 million in support of child health care in Manitoba and received numerous awards including the Mayor's Volunteer Service Award and the Foundation's Teddy Award.
