Reena, a Creative Communications student at Red River College, has written a book called Missing Pieces that includes six stories from six different people about the sudden death of a loved one who was under the age of 25. She was inspired to write it after the death of her brother in 2006 from a snowmobile crash.
Reena will be splitting up all the proceeds earned from the sales of her book six ways; and donating it to organizations each of the six story tellers chooses. Two of which are the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba.
Reena will be holding a book launch on Monday, March 9th at 7:00 pm at The Fort Garry Hotel.
