Gifts from the Heart

No child should have to spend the holidays in a hospital bed. And the kids from Luxton School know it. A handful of Grades 4 and 5 students brought gifts for sick kids in the hospital, so that patients could share in the joys of the holiday season, too.
Presents were purchased with money the students raised through a class Kindness Project. Each time a student did something kind for someone else, their teacher would put a dime into a jar. In total the kids raised $80 – that’s 800 acts of kindness!
